    How do I rename a route before its downloaded. Just wants to output it as un-nmamed route. I want to create a few routes and send them to my garmin and call them something recogniseable.

    No worries - glad you're enjoying using the site.  For anyone else searching for how to rename a route, you can do this be editing and resaving the route in the route planner.
