How do I download a route from plotaroute to my Garmin eTrex FORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Sorry, we only have an option for KML markers at every mile or km

Is it possible to download a KML file to the 0.1 mile instead of to the 1.0 mile.

We don't have a native app for the iPhone yet (we do hope to at some point) but we do have a mobile-friendly version of the site, which you should be redirected to automatically when you access the site on a mobile device, but if not just click on the Mobile Site link at the bottom of the page.

Would be a shame not to use it via mobile, since I dont have a GARMIN yet.

You can download a route in GPX format when viewing a route on the main information page for the route or when editing it in the route planner.  Chose Download from the menu when viewing a route (or from the action panel on the map if editing it in the route planner) and then click "Download to a File" and select "GPS" and "GPX".  You can easily find routes you recently viewed on your home page.

Why cant I save a map in GPX format?

There are only JPG, PNG and PDF options.

Hi Julia - You should be able to just download the route as a GPX Track and then copy the file to the GARMIN/GPX folder on your device.
