Not enough pointsFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

I recently auto plotted a route of 170km and downloaded it to my Garmin Touring.  I didnt switch the Garmin on for the first 50km, as I know the route.  When I did switch it on and start riding, the Garmin kept warning me that there was not enough points for the route.  It did guide me but the warning screen kept coming up and was a pain.

i now split the long routes into shorter sections of 50km sections.

Is this a problem you have come across before?

I've not heard of that before!  Maybe the device got confused about where it was on the route.  Anyone else got any suggestions?
