How do I change the start and finish points on a route? When I drag A & B, even with the "following roads" option it draws straight lines to each point. I've tried "editing sections" but that doesn't seem to work either. 

Hi Alan - The best way to move the start or finish points using the Auto-Plot feature to follow the roads is to first drag the start or finish point to the new location and then use the Replot Section feature to edit the new line from the old start or finish point to the new one.  I can see it would be easier if the system did this for you in one step, so I'll add this to our future enhancement list.

Thanks John. The reason I want to do that is that I have loads of routes on Bikemap which I want to import, but they start and finish from my own house location. I don't want that info to be made public or share online.

I'm pleased to say that we have now implemented this suggestion.  You can now drag the start and finish markers and the route planner will automatically extend your route from the revised start or finish points (as long as you have the Auto-Plot feature set to "By Road" or "On Foot"). If you want to move the start or finish points so that they are before their current positions, you xan use the Delete Section feature to remove sections from the start or end of the route.

How do I: "Delete Section"? i.e.: move the start point &/or endpoint back x number of sections?

You can remove the start or end of a route to shorten it by using the Delete Section feature under the Plot menu.  Click the Delete Section button and then drag the green and red markers to select the section to be deleted.  It is best to use the markers on the slider rather than the map to ensure that the relevant one is at the very start (or end) of the route before pressing Confrm to delete the section selected for deleting.

My start and end point are the same, but I now want to make them separate - any ideas how I do this? Cheers

Hi Steve - it's difficult to provide advice wihtout more information. You can drag the start and finish markers to other positions, but you can also edit the route in lots of other ways. I'd recommend having a look at our tutorial video on Editing Routes, which gives a demostration of some of the most used editing features.
