Combine directions so I stay within the Garmin 100 limit?FORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

I'm pleased to say that we have now added some new features to help manage the number of directions for your routes.  This includes an option to combine selected adjacent directions.  You can access this by clicking the "Manage Directions" button in the Directions Panel when editing a route.

Hi Rob - You would need to delete some of the directions by clicking on each one in the Directions Panel on the left (while Editing the route) and then pressing the Delete button next to it.  If you want to merge some of them you could copy and paste the text from one to another before deleting each one.  

I'll add onto our feature request list the possibility of developing a way of automating this - maybe automatically combining directions near to each other.

Get advised that I have too many (i.e. >100) pointers when I am downloading to Garmin but not obvious how I combine these to get below.

plotaroute is easily the best mapping software I have used out there so great job all!
