Is there any option to save the route as video file?

Hi Ellie - I'm afraid we don't have a facility to do this at present but is in on our Feature Request list.  For now you would need to use a 3rd party PDF print driver like CutePDF, which would enable you to print the map to a PDF file.  One thing to note though is that Google does not allow reproduction of and redistribution its maps (the "Map" and "Satellite" options) but you can freely reproduce and distribute route maps using our "Paths" map option, which is not subject to the same restrictions.

I do this already. If you are using Chrome just print the route as usual but choose Print As PDF as the printer. If you are using anything else you can install http://www.pdfill.com/ then print to the printer it adds to your system. It will allow you to save anything you print as a PDF File.

Hi Greg - Thanks for the suggestion.  I'll add it to the list.  We'd need to consider whether this would be permitted by Google under the Terms of Use for their maps, as they forbid anyone making a copy of the maps.  I'm not sure whether a printable PDF would constitute a copy or not.
