Thanks for these comments David - very helpful. Anyone who is interested in seeing a new feature that allows more than one route to be displayed on a map at the same time can vote for this on our Feature Requests list. There are currently two feature requests for this - one for loading multiple routes while editing and one for loading multiple routes when viewing a route map (numbers 9 and 55).
Allowing multiple routes on a single 'overview' map could have a number of applications such as peak/trig point baggers, geocachers or others who want to aggregate their routes. It would also allow visual comparisons between alternative routes - although tabular comparison is possible there is no substitute for visualising it on a map.
I have cycled most fells, ridges and passes in the Lake District but want to look at them on a map to spot any potential areas I've missed out.
Hi Jake - There isn't a way of showing more than one route on the map at a time I'm afraid. I can add this to our feature request list.
Hi there, does anyone know how to add more routes to a saved map? So once I've finished with one, can I press a button and begin drawing elsewhere on the map? I would like ultlmately to have different routes plotted on one map that I can export and print to paper...
Many thanks all!
