Thanks John.  I'll give it a try for the path in question and report back against your new topic if I come across a further issue.

I've got a response on this from our routing provider.  It looks like an issue to do with default access settings for different countries where access settings have not been specified for the path in question.  They are working on a change to resolve this but in the meantime you can make changes to the map yourself anytime you enocunter this problem to specify access rights for a path.  I've added a new help topic explaining how to Make Changes to the Paths Map.

Hi Martyn - I've raised this with our routing service provider.  Sometimes there is a time lag between paths appearing on the map and being available for use in the routing service that we use, but I don't think this is the case here, so there may be another reason this path isn't being recognised for automatic routing.  I'll post back when I know more.

This problem is illustrated in the following route:

    https://www.plotaroute.com/route/374722

The map needs to be switched to 'Paths' to appreciate the problem.

I have described the details in the 'Creators Notes' but, in essence, it seems that a path that is shown on the map is not recognised by the auto-plot feature.

I susspect that the problem lies with the underlying map data rather than with Plotaroute.  If this is the case, is there a way for me to make a correction to the map data, e.g, via Open Street Map?
