Hi David - you just need to drag the start marker (A) to where you want the new start point to be.  If you set the Auto-Plot setting to "By Road" or "On Foot" before you drag tghe start marker, it will automatically plot a path from the new start point to the old one.  If the new start point is a long way from the old one then it is best to drag the start marker a bit at a time, dropping it at various waypoints along the way that you want to pass through.
