URL to display map type = pathsFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

I would like a URL to share a map but I would like it to open showing paths. For example I want to share this route https://www.plotaroute.com/map/400196 but by default the map type is 'Maps' but is there a URL qualifier to have a map type of 'paths'? Its a brilliant site and ideal for arranging group walk. Thank you.

Hi John - I'm pleased to say that there is already an option to specify the type of map you want to display when someone views a route you've shared.  When you come to share the route you can choose to use the Default map type and units (the viewer's preferences) or the Current ones (whatever map type and units are being used when you click SHARE).

To share a route click SHARE from the menu above the map when viewing a route or from the options in the bottom right corner of the map when editing a route in the route planner.
