Import tcx from strava to plotarouteFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Hi there, used plotaroute a few times and it work great with garmin edge 510.

I wanted to know why, when importing a tcx created in strava, i get a perfect course line in plotaroute but no directions (cues). My guess is that strava's file is the problem here...

For now I map my course in strava and then replot it in plotaroute (somehow the suggestions of routes are better in strava from my experience, many users rides i guess).

If the TCX file you are importing to plotaroute.com contains coursepoints (cues), these should be imported as directions, so it sounds like the file you exported from Strava doesn't include these.  I'm afraid we have no means to retrospectively generate directions at present, although this is on our feature request list to look at.
