    Please see today's news post about the new label formatting options. We've also increased the range of numbered symbols available, from 10 to 30.

    Thank you so much for adding the new labeling features!!! It has totally solved my problem, I love having the choice of 3 sizes and the variety of colors! :-)))

    If I place a symbol anywhere on the map and download, I get an entry like this in the gpx-file:

    <wpt lat="53.4126692" lon="10.2826247">

    <time>2020-07-24T00:00:00Z</time>

    <name>Water</name>

    <cmt>Water</cmt>

    <desc>Water</desc>

    <sym>Swimming Area</sym>

    </wpt>

    If I start a new session and upload this gpx-file again, the symbol is not shown. What's going wrong?

    Waypoints in GPX files are currently only imported if they are nearby the route (so that they can be attached to one of the points on the route). We can look into changing this.

    "We can look into changing this." That would be very helpful! Imagine if you are planning a longer route, maybe with some hotels and other POIs that are not all nearby the route. You download it as gpx-file. Next day you are going to continue planning that route. If you upload the gpx-file the POIs that are not nearby the route are lost. Same if you upload a gpx-file with POIs from a friend or what you found in www.

    So if you could add the ability to make Anywhere-POIs recoverable, that would be wonderful. But whatever: great website!
