So there I was using the mapping tools to plot a route sound the Grand Canyon, down Bright Angel trail, up North Kaibab and then back.

When i I turned on hills to look at the elevation it’s basically a straight line. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Josh - thanks for flagging this up. It looks like the elevation file for that local area was corrupt. We've replaced it and it seems to be working OK now.
