Is there a way to toggle the edit mode on and off while using the Streetview splt screen ?

I might leave it in edit mode if I'm editing directions, for example, but then if I need to use Streetview there is the danger that I will find I've left a "B" mid-route and have to undo, undo, undo to get rid of it.  

It would be handy if I could toggle out of edit mode before moving the little man, without having to save again ...

Sorry Colin, there is no way to do this at present I'm afraid. It's something we can consider in future developments.
