Stop maps self centeringFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Does anyone know if it's possible to stop the map self centering evey time you mark a point when plotting a route?  I know this might be useful sometimes but it's also a bit annoying when you're plotting across the screen.  Thanks.

Hi Graham - yes, you can change this on your My Settings page (look for the "Pan map when plotting" setting).

Thanks John, and apologies for the delay in responding to you.  Until recently, I was using walkjogrun and was literally thrilled to find Plotaroute after the demise of that site.

No worries Graham, glad you like the site. I was sad to see the demise of walkjogrun, as it was once of the first sites of this type. I think Google's recent price rises could have been a big factor in them closing down. I'm pleased you've found us instead though!
