Hi Barry - You can edit existing Route Collections by selecting My Collections from the menus or by clcking the "Manage My Route Collections" button on the My Collections tab on your personal home page.

Hi, is it possible to show the collection and then draw a new route over the top, when the collection is shown in the background?

Hi Rob - yes, you can temporarily add other routes to the background map in the route planner using the Trace a Route feature. You can't add a whole collection at a time though, so you'll need to add them individually.

When I take the menu choices to share a route I get an option to EMBED MAP ON ANOTHER WEBSITE and get a block of HTML to copy. How do I do the same for a collection? I'd love to embed the 'live' collection view (as shown in this article) for my routes on my website. Thanks, Evan

Hi Evan - At present it's only possible to embed individual routes not route collections, but this is somehting we might consider making available at some point.

Sounds good thanks. I would find the ability to embed a route collection on another website very useful and I will look out for news with keen interest!

Download only includes download of one route.

    Print does not work

Yes,  for Route Collections I'm afraid you can ony download one route at a time. Can you provide more information about the printing problem?

Sorry, should have given more details. W10, I have produced a collection that includes an original route partly overlaid with an extended revised route to show the differences. The collection display has a menu drop down which include options for print and download. You have confirmed that download only downloads one of the two routes and not both. Selecting print does nothing, however, I have just found out that right clicking on print and selecting print from that drop down menu does exactly what I require. So, thanks for a great program and now sorted on this item.

Still have to input my password every time I sign in.

    regards

How can I print a map showing all routes in my collection on one map?

I don't think you can do that via the Menu/Print, it's one at a time. Admin might confirm.

Only was I can think is to get the view you want and printed the screen.

    Hi!

Indeed, this option is not available. I remembered another topic on this and saw that it was also you who answered Mark. ;)

I've checked the Feature Requests list and it is on there, so this might be a future development.

    Kind regards,
    Julien

Hi, this comment is about the topic "How To Show Two Or More Routes On The Same Map" but if I click on the comment link there, I get redirect to this page to add a comment on "How do I add a new route to an existing collection?".

Any way, my question is, why I need to create a collection to be able to see multiple routes on the same map? It would be so much easier if this can be done directly from the 'My Routes' page, where you can filter routes anyway you like. It's weird that you first need to add the selection to a collection before you can see them on the map. That page even has a [View on map] button with a 'Routes Selected: 9' heading that suggests you can see the selected routes on the map right away. Also, the ''Routes Selected: 9'' is based on the filters, not the check boxes, which is a bit weird.

    Thanks
    JP

    Hi JP,

I don't know how John set up the "comment" link of the How-to articles, but I guess they link to a related topic.
In this case, because showing multiple routes on one map requires the collection feature, the "comment" link leads to this topic, about managing a collection.

Now, about your question, what you want is something I can add to the requested features I share with the devs.
So far, the "View on a map" button simply links to the route finder. You can look for your routes on the map, but they show as results on the map, not as routes.

"Routes Selected" could say "Filtered routes" or "routes matching these criteria" and be placed on the right side of the screen instead, to better show that it's related to the filters, and not the actually selected routes below.
I'll also suggest to the devs to change this in the future.
Thanks for your feedback on this!

    Best regards,
    Julien
