I'm also an OSM editor. Just found this site on recommendation now when gpsies that I used before is shutting down. It has all features I need and more, except for the leeeengthy delays on OSM updates. 3-14 days does not seem to work on all features. I have updates in OSM I made 4 months ago which still haven't appeared on your OSM mirror.

I suggest that you add a possibility to use a direct OSM source for route planning (I understand you would of course need to route new features manually, as the routing feature will be using another database, but that is okay). This is very important for us that live in areas where the map material isn't that great. And I can assure you, even if OSM is limited, Google maps is much worse, and can't be fixed on the fly by contributors as OSM can.

Hi John - it depends on the map type and the zoom level (zoomed in map tiles are refreshed more frequently).  Our OSM Street Map tiles are refreshed between 3 and 14 days.  However, tiles can also be cached by your browser, so it could be a bit longer before changes appear unless you clear your browser's cache.

How often are OSM tiles updated?  I am an OSM editor and I'm not seeing updates made this week.
