Yes, not what I know, but there is a Garmin thread about this when going of route for a while and latest release

    https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/fenix-6-series/244503/navigation-fenix-6-off-route/1161985#1161985

Having the same problem with 12.20. The route is lost often and, although it does recognise you have gone back on route eventually, it takes a very long time to do so.

Also, when the route is lost, the virtual partner ahead/behind is reset to 0. Not sure if this is intentional behaviour but not a fan of it.

We haven't changed anything at our end recently. Maybe something has changed with Garmin?

I've been doing the same routine without problems:

    • First design the route in PlotaRoute, assigning time and various points of interest.
    • Then on the mountain, with the .fit in "Newfiles" in my Garmin F945, I could see the distance to the next point and the time ahead or behind (AHD/BHD) on the expected time on the route ... something very useful.

But since two or three weeks the AHD/BHD has not been working properly ... it is as if this AHD/BHD returns to zero every time I get off the route ... which is quite frustrating ...

    any ideas ?
