Hybrid satellite/paths viewFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

The current hybrid view seems to be one of the road maps plus satellite but I would find a hybrid of the paths map plus satellite very useful for plotting off-road runs. For parts of some routes, I either have to keep switching between paths and satellite or plot manually in satellite.

Thanks for this suggestion Gary. Unfortunately the paths map tiles are not transparent overlays , so I think would be difficult to do, but we'll keep it in mind if another option comes up.

A second one from me, but Bike related, rather than run. I have to keep switching between Satellitte / Hybrid and then Cycle maps to confirm if the cycle route actually follows a viable path. 
Being able to see Cycle paths and a image of the terrain would be invaluable. Hopefully this can be addressed in a future release. Thanks for considering.

Thanks for your comments Kristian. It's something we hope to be able to do at some point, but we don't have a technical solution at the moment.

I am an event organiser and new to plotaroute.

I find it useful and very helpful.

I would like to export the route to be placed onto posters and websites - do you / can you offer creative ways to export the paths/routes which is attractive to be used in posters?

Normally, for posters, the pathlines can be 'thicker' and overlay over major roads / districts only; also the pathlines colour can change to suite the background.

This is similar to the requests by Kristian and Garry although for different application.

Sorry, our service is primarily deisgned for online use, so we don't have that type of feature.
