Increase zoom limit on Google mapsFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

I wish I had read the news about Map Provider Changes before I have paid membership! i cannot plot a route "in the middle of nowhere" (as i did before), because i cannot zoom in! i am very disappointed.....

We are no longer using Google maps I'm afraid - the map you're referring to to is from another provider and this is the highest zoom level available at present. Please see our announcement last month about Map Provider Changes for further information: https://www.plotaroute.com/news. 

Is it possible to increase the amount of zoom on Google maps. The amount of zoom alllowed in Plot-a-route is significantly less than is capable on Google maps. I am a paid subscriber specifically for the use of Google maps, yet the google maps in Plot-a-route does not compare the maps from maps.google.com.

I use use Plot-a-route professionally to design road-race courses for clients measure the distance as close as possible prior to certifying the courses for USATF and it would be tremendously helpful to be able to zoom way in and plot very precisey located waypoints.
