Thanks Martyn. You can remove the shading by adding the radius map to the background map - there is a button for this below the radius map settings, which you'll see once the radius map has been generated.

I've just started to use the radius feature to investigate walking possibilities from local stations. Excellent!

However, I've noticed that the shading trends to obscure the map detail. Two possibilities:

- an option to show the outline only, i.e , without shading

- an option to invert the area that's shaded, i.e., shade the map that's outside the limit rather than inside it.
