Annoying feature on the linked / embed mapFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Plotaroute maps embedded on other websites are initially displayed as static maps because these don't slow down the loading of the web page as much as the full interactive map, which requires far more resources to load. We also find that embedded maps are usually included on web pages along with other content and the full map is not always needed, as people are often looking at the other content on the page instead. 

1. Why do i have to click to access the "live" map ?

2. Why do i have to go through the auto-playback of the route every time ?

3. I really don't understand why they can't be turned off in my account.
