Replot section by dragging a via-pointFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Hi,

A feature I miss and I addore a lot in routeplanners like google-maps or komoot is the replot/reroute a section with dragging a point of the route to another location.

Here you can see an illustrated example from komoot

1. hover with the mouse over a point of the route
[IMAGE REMOVED DUE TO SIZE]

2. klik the point of the route you like to replot/reroute and move the point to a desired new location
[IMAGE REMOVED DUE TO SIZE]

3. release the mouse-click and a new route is created base on your selected routing preferences

Hi Ewoud - we have this feature on Plotaroute. You can do this using the Reshape Route tool in the route planner. You can see a demo of this in our Editing Routes Tutorial Video.

Working with anker-points will fullfill this feature-request! 
Activating this tool with CTRL+R is fairtly convinient... but is theire an possibility to have this tool active by default?
So the moment I hover over my route that I immediate can add an anker-point? Or would this block another function?

It wouldn't really be feasible to keep the Reshape Route feature on all the time as it would impact other features.

I've been using Plotaroute and starting to feel quite confident with doing routes and using with Wahoo

I've used  'replot section ' a lot and it's worked great. Now i have a problem: I create the green and red circles, redraw the route but the CONFIRM  option doesn't come up, so I can't make the change.

What am I doing wrong, or is there a glitch with this ?

The confirm button should be displayed in the top right corner. Are you using a desktop computer or a mobile device? On a desktop computer the confirm button looks like this:

On a mobile it looks like this (the tick button):

[IMAGE REMOVED DUE TO SIZE]

What are you seeing?
