to see own topics and comments on forumFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

It would be great to have the possibility to select somehow the option to see your own topics and comments to different topics (your topics or others topics). This will be useful mainly after we will have many topics and hundreds of comment in total, from many users. Then it will be difficult to find your own topics / comments to remember what wa your position or suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I think I would find this useful myself too!  I'll put it on the request list.

I'm pleased to say that this is now possible with the new personal dashboard feature on the home page.  There is a quick link to all your topics and it will also flag up if there have been any new posts since you last looked at it.

Search Facility - is there any way to search the forum contents for keywords or similar?

I've read through most of the "How Do I" stuff but can't find out how to delete a route I've saved as a test (just a dummy route I made as a practice run).

Not only would a search facility become more useful as the amount of content increases, it would also reduce repeat questions and probably save you lots of time answering questions on an ad hoc basis.

Hi Pat - it is on our list to add a search facility on the fourm but it hasn't made it to the top of the list yet!  I'll see if we can move it up the priority list a bit.  Thanks for suggesting this.

To delete one of your routes, select My Routes from the "More" menu in the route planner (or from the "Routes" menun on the home page), and then click the "Manage Routes" button.  This will then enable you to delete any of your routes from the list by clicking on the red delete icon.  Click the "Done" button when you've finished.

A quick update on this - a search facility has now been added to the forums.  You can access this from the forums home page.  It can also be used to quickly get to topics that you've previously posted to.
