You probably selected download as gpx route. Set download as gpx track.

Hi, the last few weeks I've had a problem downloading and importing routes - the process works but when I use the uploaded version from the gpx file the route is wrong - so instead of following the path set originally by the route it becomes an 'as the crow flies' from each point to point. I'm not sure I'm explaining it very well. 

I have tried uploading the gpx file into both garmin connect and back into plotaroute and both are doing the same, which means it's something in how it's downloading but I haven't done anything differently to normal and I've used this method tonnes of times previiously. 

Has something changed? Can anyone help me with where im going wrong?
