OK, that's a little different to what I thougt you wanted. I thoughted you wanted to see other outes as you plotted new ones.

I guess to summarise - I need to be able to create a main circular track with single, non-return tracks of that main track.

Have you read How To Plot A Detour?

But don't expect to download this type of route to as a GPX and have the same options, ie multiple, swappable routes.

Yes, the collection tool is useful...to a degree.

The issue is these tracks are not circular in nature and cross over eachother. And since they are off-road, I'm unable to coordinate them effectively by joining the tracks because they just jam a straight line between the two starting points - rendering this feature ineffective.

A work-around feature is to plot the entire track and then break it up into sections - this seems to sort the problem out for that.

However - If I plot a circular section and then have a single road going to another circular section, I need to loop over the same road that I just plotted.

This is OK for the sake of a map but when it comes needing this distance to be accurate, it doubles back on itself.

I also can't use the anchor feature because this does exactly that.

That's to help plotting. To see a multitude of routes, create a Collection

Given the limit of 5 .... a crude workaround would be to join 2 or more by a straight line, then save that route compilation. One layer could then show 2 or more routes.

I own a fairly large property, 1200 acres, and I need to create a map and gpx data to share for user and 4WD access across many off-road tracks.

I need certain tracks uniquely identified and named, and not part of the one overall track, but must connect to and be identifiable from that track.

I am having trouble doing this because I can't have more than 5 traces at a time? I need to be able to see all of the tracks at once. I'm finding myself guessing where some are because I am unable to layer them on/off.

Can someone please suggest the best way to do this?
