Popular Routes
Hello,I noticed that it’s currently not possible to mark an existing road as a cycling or walking path on the map. I understand that these paths are currently being renovated or are close to completion. As an example, I have marked the section near Heroldishausen on the map: View Route. https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2857375
Is there any way to include this path on the map even though construction work is still ongoing? I’m planning to take this route at a later time and would like to include it in my planning already.
Since I only speak German, a video response would be very helpful in explaining the steps.
Thank you!
Jusr turn auto-plot off for these short sections and plot manually
Open the Route Planner:Open the Plotaroute route planner and either start a new route or edit an existing one.
Find the “Auto-Plot” Section:At the top center of the window, you'll see the “Auto-Plot” section, which consists of four buttons representing different automatic routing modes.
Disable Auto-Plot:
Start Manual Plotting:
Lutz,
Are you saying that disabling Auto-Plot works for your case, ie, you can manually go where teh Auto-Plot won't let you?Not perfect, but it works for small issues.Plotaroute uses the opensource OpenStreeMap database etc, it has no direct control over that.

Thank you, Marc, for your reply. I can’t say exactly what the issue was – maybe I just didn’t know how to use the program properly at first. By now, I understand it much better and know how to work with it. The language the program is written in made things a bit challenging for me in the beginning. On top of that, I had some internet problems, which might have contributed to the difficulties.
