Popular Routes
When I click on Confirm after reducing the number of points nothing happens other than a revolving cirlce of dots next to the Confirm button. This happens on both Chrome and Firefox but does not happen on DuckDuckGo browser. I get a similar issue when loading a route for editing in FF and Chrome (a revolving circle of dots) - however, if I close the "Loading Route" message box using the X in the top right corner the route is actually loded and can be edited.

Hi Steve,
I have just tested this on Chrome and Firefox: all went well.No issues accessing route editing and none either for point reduction.
So it's not a general issue with those browsers.
Can you clear your cache and cookies and try again?
Best regards,Julien
Thanks Julien. Done that and no change. I'm using Windows 11 and Nord VPN. Browsers are up to date.
Steve
Is the issue the same with and without the VPN?
If you happen to have multiple devices, is this the same on all of them?
Kind regards,Julien
Hi Julien,
It is the same with and without the VPN. Chrome and Firexox on my Android phone are fine.
Thanks again,
So I guess it must be something specific to those two browsers on your PC.Either a custom setting, an extension, for example.
Could you try using private mode on Firefox and/or incognito mode on Chrome to see if this changes things? If it does, this should narrow it down to a setting or extension.
Also, because users recently had an issue with their ISP, did you test this on your Android phone whilst being connected to the same wifi as your PC?If not, can you try whilst on wifi to see if suddenly the issue is the same on your phone?
I hope all these tests help narrow things down; otherwise, I'll ask the devs for their help.
All the best,Julien
Ah! You've cracked it! Well done.
Disabling the Wandrer extension has sorted it out. (Which is a great pity because I got this extensiomn specifically to work with plotaroute.)
Thanks, Julien.
I'm happy things are back to normal! =)
I'm sorry to hear about the Wandrer extension.I don't know if this is something the devs could work on, to make the extension compatible with Plotaroute, but I'll add it to the requested features just in case.
