Thanks Julien. I think the same is issue is happening with the updated title. A small preview of the route would be useful too! I think the fix is about updating the meta open graph tags.

I haven't tried this before, so I just did, and this is not a Premium feature: the result is the same on a Premium account.

Which means that replacing the auto-generated description with the notes you wrote is a feature request.

I'll send it to the devs.

When i share the route to WhatsApp via the view routes, select route, select option, share route, the notes that I have added to the root aren't pulled into the generated into link

I think the shared description should be the notes that the user has added, or should override the auto generated route description. 

If this is a premium feature only, I'm quite happy to sign up
