Once an avid road cyclist and hill walker - the latter for the past 5 years or so - wear and tear in the old knee joints have now confined me to the slow lane of paved surfaces and gentle gradients which for the most part, I'm happy to coast along in, on a hybrid bicycle - do hop on to my other, cyclo-cross bike for the occasional 'burn' with other fair-weather cyclists.

This pedestrianized form of commute has now also favoured my other, still very enthusiastic pastime: photography. The reduced pace on bike and foot, has indeed proved very rewarding in affording me the time and patience for some creative image making on the way...

..That long and winding road looks a lot more interesting and picturesque now!
