Hi, how do I add a waypoint to an imported track or add a small detour that will double back on itself to the main track?

You can use our Plot a Detour tool to add a detour. See our guide on plotting detours for more information about this.

For general editing of routes, including altering them to pass through a waypoint, you can use our Reshape Route tool. Take a look at our video tutorial on editing routes for a demonstration of this.

I have a gpx route that I want to import and do some editing to. There is a section of the route what will be repeated so I want to have it in there twice. Also I want to add waypoints to the uploaded gpx route at certain miles. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Ray - You can repeat sections of a route using the "Repeat Section" tool from the toolbar in the route planner. You can add waypoints at any point along the route by adding directions (or notes/symbols/labels) in the directions panel of the route planner.
