Thanks for being a Premium member and for your kind compliments about the site. In answer to your questions:

1. The Total Ascent switch is working OK here. It could be a problem related to one particular route or geographical area. Can you give me an example of a route where it doesn't work?
   
   
2. We don't create waypoints for milemarkers when you download a route to a GPX file, so only way to add them would be to manually add notes or directions to the route I'm afraid.
   
   
3. The distance between mile markers is calculated based on the length of the route and the size of the map, so more may be shown on a larger screen. There is currently no way to override this distance.  We do have this our on Feature Request list, so anyone interested in us adding this can vote for it on our Feature Requests page (number 42). 
   
   
4. Our website doesn't save passwords, so it is possible that you are using a feature of your web browser to save your password. However, you should be able to stay signed in by ticking the "Keep Me Signed In" box when you sign in. This should "remember" you for a period of time, as long as you don't clear your browser cache. If you are having issues accessing Premium features though, please have a look at our FAQ on this.

been using this for a couple yrs as premium member.  good program.

when i am editing a route, upper right hand corner under mileage plotted there is "est total ascent" switch, but nothing happens when i click on it.

i save a map and download it to a gpx viewer on my iphone (for no cell signal rides).  i don't see the mileage markers, is there a way to have them on map w/o creating extra labels?

is there a way to change the mile marker label put on maps.  right now there is one for every mile, can i adjust it to every 3 miles?

also, i've always had problems that PAR doesn't save my password and i have to keep reentering it even though i've sve it, and very often it doesn't seem to know that i'm a premium member.
