    This route begins at the mouth of the Clyde in Dunoon, heading out west on a loop past Tighnabruich, voted one of Scotland's prettiest villages. You'll then island hop over to Bute, peddling past the faded glory of Victorian seaside resorts that were once the getaway for Glasgow's workers. If you've got time before the ferry back to mainland you could test yourself on Rothesay's infamous serpentine road, short, sinous and sinew strainingly steep, you'll be sure to savour the view whilst you repay your oxygen debt.
