    Start outside OT, up through car park to main road,
    turn right and straight up Edlogan Way, right onto The Highway all the way down and right down Llanyravon Way, Left at the bottom along Llanfrechfa Way and up past Burtons to the traffic lights, right onto Llantarnam Road, Left up Oakfield Road past Flower Gardens, straight over roundabout and right onto the canal path opposite Waterloo Pub, follow canal all the way through Old Cwmbran and Pontnewydd until you reach Five Locks Road, turn left up to Meadowbrook Avenue. 'photo op with Alun the dinosaur.' back the way we came along Five Locks Road down to Lowlands Road, left down the hill towards Pontrhydyrun, left at roundabout up Cwmbran Drive and then right towards Ashbridge, right at traffic lights and left through Avondale Industrial Estate down Caldicot Way, right onto Avondale Way all the way past Morrisons, left at burger van along Llanfrechfa Way, up the river behind Llany Social (not skate park) around rugby pitch and over bridge back to Olive Tree around to Parkrun finish area straight up to the end alongside train station, at end turn right onto Station Road/Afon Terrace, straight over roundabout onto Woodland Road, turn right onto path and follow around to the right, over bridge to river car park/OT.
