To get to the start, simply take Lincoln Ave east from I-25 and turn right on Parker Rd. Turn left on Mainstreet and another left to enter O'brien Park.

Starting at O'brien park in central park the route heads south to the Parker Open Space. After descending through the open space, it winds into Salisbury Park. After exiting the park it heads west over Gold Hill and joins Ridgegate Parkway to work its way towards Lone Tree. A new trail has been added that begins at the Schweiger Ranch Historical Site. From there, the route continues to climb up and over two small gaps in the lone tree area before heading south up Daniels Park. Daniels Park will be the longest climb of the day at approximately five miles. After reaching the scenic summit of Daniels Park, the route drops down on the road to US 85 to get to the meadows of Castle Rock. The route climbs up the spine of the ridge-line open space. This then connects to the Phillip S. Miller Trail network and wanders through for about 5 miles. Upon exiting the trail network, it drops into Downtown Castle Rock. After climbing up to the Founders Ridge, it would then slowly descend down to the access road taking the route up to the top of Hidden Mesa. After taking the Pleasant Pass trail, the route will follow the creek beds up to the Bayou Gulch Bike park. A few miles later, the route takes a loop around Bingham lake then climbs out of the Pinery on the Colorado Country club perimeter trail. As the it begins to descend back into Parker, it follows a series of paths, access roads and dear trails, before dropping into the downtown parker area.

Of the 115 KM, about 63 of them are unpaved and of those 63 about 60 are not open to traffic. Most of the trail is smooth and suitable for narrow tires, but a few of the sectors are designed for Mountain-bikes so it is recommended to bring multiple spare tires. As for the 52 KM of time on the road, please respect traffic and take care to keep a positive image for cycling in South Metro Denver.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
