    Start by crossing the high street, to end up on the Thyme & Tides side. Walk Left (East) to the roundabout. Imagine you're driving the wrong way round the roundabout, take the first exit (but stick to the pavement!) Walk to the end of the cul-de-sac keeping the White Hart Inn on your left. Where the road turns right, walk straight on (South), and join the Test Way footpath. Follow the path for 5km until you reach Horsebridge Road, the road dissects the Test Way, you won't miss it! Walk left (South-East) along Horsebridge Road until you reach the John O'Gaunt Inn... Enjoy!

    Once you're full and finished, walk back along Horsebridge Road the way you came (North-West). This time, continue past the Test Way along Horsebridge Road for 1.5km. Depending on how much you ate for lunch, at some point you'll reach a right (North-East) turn onto Houghton road (signposted to Stockbridge). Sticking to the pavement where possible, stay on Houghton Road for about 4km to end up back on Stockbridge high street. When you reach the high street, proceed right (East) to end up back at the hotel. We'll be sure to welcome you with a jam scone or three!
