Start by walking left (East) out of the hotel. Walk all the way to the roundabout at the end of the high street, then, continue along the pavement that runs parallel to the roundabout's first exit (the A30). You'll come to another roundabout 400 metres further up the A30, again, follow the pavement that runs parallel to the roundabout's first exit (the A3057). After 300 metres, the pavement turns into the Test Way, clearly signposted as a bridle footpath. Continue along the Test Way for 1km. Dissecting the Test Way will be a small country road called The Bunny, framed by a white-posted railing, head left (North-West) on The Bunny for 1km, crossing the River Test at one of it's most picturesque settings. Continue along The Bunny and you won't miss the Peat Spade Inn.

Now with batteries recharged, head left (South-West) at the War Memorial along Longstock Road for 2.5km. You will reach Stockbridge high street, proceed left (East) along the high street back to the hotel for a well-deserved afternoon tea (and cake!)

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
