From the parking lot of CedarBridge Academy, walk in a southerly direction along Alexandria Road, exiting onto Middle Road by the ZBM Studios. Turn left and walk down Middle Road to the Devonshire Post Office, turning left onto Orange Valley Road. Turn right onto Jubilee Road, crossing Barker’s Hill to continue along Vesey Street. Emerge onto Middle Road and turn left, walking along Middle Road, past Penhurst Park, turning left onto Store Hill. Walk a short way down the hill and turn left onto the Railway Trail. Follow the Trail back to Palmetto Road, go past Tynes Bay and turn left onto Old Military Road. Walk towards the Prospect Primary School, but turn left just prior to its car park, onto Cedar Park Road. Walk through this residential neighbourhood, which terminates at a country lane. Take this path through the woodland and arable area, taking time to note the old military cemetery on your left before returning to your starting point via Alexandria Road.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
