    We met with the owner of the Bryn Elltyd Eco guest house and he took us on an adventure walk up into the mountains. We walked round Llyn Cymorthin where they were filming an episode of Treasure Island from CBBC. They were using one of the slate mines next to the lake. We then climbed up the hill and passed a number of old deserted slate mines, water wheels , and villages. We headed across the hilltop to the head of the next valley and saw some fantastic views down to Porthmadoc.
