Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

* From the King’s Square parking lot, walk towards the east along Water Street, joining Duke of York Street and following it up Barrack Hill, along Cut Road to Alexandra’s Battery Park at Town Cut. Follow Barry Road along the coast to Fort St. Catherine, turning left onto Coot Pond Road. Follow Coot Pond Road and up Naval Tanks Hill until you get to the small Park Road turn-off on your right. Walk along Park Road as it turns into Secretary Road and then Somner Lane. A short way up Somner Lane take another right turn towards Khyber Pass. At Khyber Pass walk to the roundabout and follow Suffering Lane in a westerly direction, until you reach Wellington Hill road on your right. Walk down Wellington Hill, cross the main road into St. George’s (Mullet Bay Road) and go along Wellington Slip Road around the cricket oval. Finish your walk by returning to King’s Square along Mullet Bay Road, Wellington Street and Water Street.
