Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

From the parking lot of the Somerset Marketplace, walk south a short distance along Somerset Road to the junction with Hook ’n Ladder Lane. Turn left here and skirt the cricket oval on Cricket Lane, then turn left onto Scott’s Hill Road. Turn right onto the railway trail (also known as Bob’s Valley Road or Tribe Road #2) and proceed to Sound View Road. Turn left onto Sound View Road, turn right onto Scott’s Hill then left onto East Shore Road. Emerge into Somerset Village by turning left onto Somerset Road then right onto Mangrove Bay Road and left onto Cambridge Road. Cambridge Road will merge onto Daniel’s Head Road, then Greenfield Lane, then left onto West Side Road. Turn left onto Sound View Road (a short distance past the junction of West Side Road with Somerset Road). At Bob’s Valley Road turn left and return to your starting point at the Somerset Marketplace.
