    難度唔高,好多人一家大細行呢座山 (乜而家啲細路咁屈機㗎咩),景觀亦相當遼闊,眾山圍繞,一片綠色。平坦路段唔少,但喺紫羅蘭山落樓梯嘅時候斜度可能會比較大,紫崗橋落淺水灣嗰條路較多沙石,需要小心。設有一個退出點,攰得制可以喺大潭水塘道轉右落山搭巴士離開,或者行去陽明山莊嘅百佳涼一涼冷氣,距離行山徑大約 200 米路程 —— 心水清嘅人會記得三年前「豁!豁出去!」camp 第二日嘅晚餐,就係喺呢間百佳買餸煮㗎喇!另一方面,呢條行山徑嘅缺點係佢得一個廁所咁姑寒,都係喺大潭水塘道嗰度。行紫羅蘭山嘅嗰條路比較開揚,冇咩樹蔭,如果有需要可以帶備防曬用品。
