    Take the 120 to the Terminus near the shops at Barncliffe Road. Continue up Barncliffe Road to the junction with Crimicar Lane. Turn slight left to cross Crimicar Lane to take a footpath to Spider Park. At the end of Spider Park turn left and continue uphill along Harrison Lane. At the junction turn left and continue downhill until reaching the junction with David Lane. At David Lane turn right down a steep downhill section. At the cross roads continue straight ahead to follow a footpath past little cottages and over a little brook over a bridge. Continue uphill to cross fields (can be muddy) to reach [ ]. Turn left and then turn right at the junction with Mark Lane. Continue along Mark Lane until reaching the Porter Valley trail where you can turn left to follow the footpath or bridleway downhill to Forge Dam. Once at Forge Dam continue up the drive back to Fulwood village to take the 120 back from the bottom of Crimicar Lane opposite the Co-Op.

    Notes:
    contains some sections walking along generally quiet roads but as there are no dedicated footpaths so not suitable if walking with young children.

    There are extensive works to de-silt Forge Dam so there are some local footpath diversions in place.
