    *** IMPORTANT:***
    Black Diamond Skates are designed to push the intermediate & advanced skaters in MNSkate who want more of a challenge than the classic Monday Night Skate routes have to offer. These are the gnarliest routes I could think of. Black diamond skates will hit bigger hills, and rougher roads. We will stop less, go faster, and explore areas that are inaccessible to less experienced skaters. I made these routes to put the experienced skaters in our groups out of their comfort zones; I believe getting out of your comfort zone is crucial to improve your skating. While the classic Monday Night Skate may do this for the majority of member, Black Diamond Skates are for those it doesn't.

    ** Difficulty: Hills, hills hills. If you were with us last summer you may remember the St Paul route that started with a car pool up a giant hill. This route starts in the same spot... but we are skating up that hill. Cardio is your friend here. St. Paul has a lot oh hills, and we're hitting all of them. You absolutely need to feel comfortable bombing hills at full speed and stopping at the bottom, Several times on this route you will approach the bottom of a hill at full speed and be in a position where a car or pedestrian could be in your path.
