Schluchtensteig Schwarzwald #1 18,7 Km D+683 D-444
We wandelen Stühlingen uit en we lopen langs de Wutachbeek, de grens met Zwitserland. Na 3,3 km kunnen we via een houten brug even de grens oversteken naar Zwitserland.
Op 4 km bij het treinstation van Weizen zijn toiletten en een overdekte rustplaats. Plaspauze. Hier begint het eerste echte klim, al blijft het bescheiden met 1 bult
Op 7,9 km staat JP bij de (wandel)parking met bankjes. Wel checken of ze in de schaduw staan, anders picnicset uitklappen. Er is daar ook een hotel maar het restaurant is op maandagen gesloten. Koffie/thee en iets lekkers van de bakker. We kunnen het best dan al ons brood smeren en meenemen want de volgende etappe is het 'woest' want daarna begint de Wutachschlücht en dit is één van de mooiste gedeeltes van de route, maar ook onvoorspelbaarder hoelang we erover gaan doen.
Lunchpauze is gepland in of bij schuilhut Bielwasenhütte. op 13,2 km. JP kan hier ook naartoe komen wandelen, P ligt op 90 meter van de hut, maar het is niet verplicht.
Hierna hebben we nog 2 etappes naar het ophaalpunt in Blumberg, 3,5 km maar gaat flink steil omhoog en op 16,7 km bereiken we het hoogste punt, weer met schuilhut Buchberhütte. Even uitpuffen en van het uitzicht genieten. Daarna verder naar beneden naar Blumberg Stadthalle, daar worden we opgehaald.
