We wandelen vanaf Blumberg de eerste 2 km erg steil omlaag de schleifenbachklamm in onder andere over een stalen trap naar de gelijknamige 20 meter hoge waterval.

Daarna wandelen we redelijk vlak Achdorf in en we lopen verder over een klein bultje naar Aselfingen en op zo'n 4,2 km net over de brug over de Wutach is een picknickbank.
We wandelen verder langs de Wutach een pad dat steeds wat steiler omhoog gaat en door oerbossen. Bij Wutachsmuhle lopen we naar de picnic banken op 7,4 km. Misschien gaat JP daar een stukje met ons mee.
Wij wandelen verder langs de Wutach. De Schurhammerhut, een schuilplaats (ook tegen eventuele regen) aan een weide met ook bankjes buiten is de volgende pauzeplek op 13,4 km. (etappe 4,7 km met kleine pauze na 2,3 km)
De route loopt verder omhoog, op 15,7 km komen we de Tannegger waterval tegen. Op 16,4 km (etappe 3 km) is er een picknickplaats bij het voormalige kuhrort Bad Boll, daar nemen we weer onze rust mits bankjes in de schaduw.
Op 17,5 km krijgen we nog meer picknickbanken, maar wellicht lopen we nu in één keer door naar het eindpunt Schattenmühle 20,3/20,6 terras (etappe 4,2 km)
