Parkrun Route - November 2022 (Update 1)

Start on the field inside the sliding gate.  Grass.

Head on the grass along the Vlei Rd fence towards GPCC follow left and down the track towards Hamiltons.  Marshal 1 at the gate leading in from Vlei Rd.
Sweep right onto the pathway between Hamiltons and GPCC.  Cones here no marshal.

Right onto the new pavement on Fritz Sonnenberg.  Arrow sign, no marshal.  Great close up view of the DHL stadium.  We’re now on the Formula E race track!
Follow bend on the paving behind P6 parking.  Arrow sign, no marshal.

Cross through the GPCC parking area into the gate onto the shared fields.   Marshal 1 monitoring and watching cars parking.

Continue towards the urban park with Vlei Rd and fence on the left.

Enter the park through the sliding gate Marshal 2  and turn right.

Run the entire length of the paved pathway to the west gate (lighthouse end).  Marshal 3.

Turn right onto Bay Rd and keep right (because returning runners will be on the road side).

Continue to the Hellenic Club Marshal 3 and U turn left heading back to the west gate.

Pass the west gate on Bay Rd keeping right (because returning runners will be on the park side).

Continue to the end of Bay Rd (junction with Bill Peters) Marshal 4 and U turn left heading back to the west gate.

Enter the park at the west gate.

30 metres in take the right turn onto the circular concrete path.  Cones here or Marshall 5?

Follow the path past Tea Room/Toilets/play grounds.

Turn up right just before the amphitheatre.  Marshall 5 or 6

At top T junction left (Arrow sign, no marshal) past the amphitheatre and continue straight on towards the fountain.

Turn right on main pathway towards the finish.  Arrow sign, no marshal.

Before east gate turn right through a gap in the trees to the finish on the Redham Field.  Marshal 1.
