[WCB] Heron Bay Marketplace & Nature Reserve
Westmount Lane becomes an unpaved downhill trail that leads to the Railway Trail just above the old TN Tatem School. (Note that the Westmount rail is NOT Tribe Road No. 7.) Return to Camp Hill Road via the Railway Trail, then turn right and walk back towards the Heron Bay Marketplace. Walk into Riddell’s Bay and along the main road towards the public dock. Just before the dock turn right into the Riddell’s Bay Nature Reserve. This reserve is private property, but is open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset. Stay on the marked trails and please respect the roped off areas (there are a lot of seedlings and young trees, and new sod has recently been laid) and please stay off people’s driveways.
Other than that, you may explore the reserve as you wish. The plotted route will take you in a clockwise direction around the reserve (which used to be a golf course), leading you to the old club house. Return to the starting point at the Heron Bay Marketplace.

The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing.
