    Start: Outside Morrisons (Duki) Main Car Park Entrance

    Total Route: 7.5k;   Shorter option ~5k;

    Down Birch Lane direction Ashton
    Left onto Chapel St opposite Astley Arm
    Follow Chapel St over lights at King St & all the way to the end
    At end of Chapel St, left onto Astley St
    At Globe Hotel, right onto Ashton St/Shepley Rd

    AT THIS POINT, TO CUT SHORT, OMIT STEPS 1-3 AND CONTINUE *HERE*

    1 Down the hill then up the other side then left onto Cemetery Rd
    2 Left and an outside circuit of Dead Centre Denton!!
    3 Exit right and follow route back towards Globe Hotel

    *HERE*

    Just before Globe Hotel, drop left onto the canal towpath
    Follow canal direction Portland Basin
    Halfway to Portland Basin, cross small bridge & climb to Astley St
    Left here, over lights at King St & follow all the way to the end
    At end, cross directly over Crescent Rd onto Hall Green Rd
    Follow road through Dead Centre Duki!!
    Exit onto Prospect Rd then Sandy Lane/Oxford Rd back to the start
