A very easy and beginner friendly 3.5 mile loop around Mt. Washington , in Glassell Park/Eagle Rock. Has a mini dirt trail for beginner mountain bikers, with views of Forrest Lawn.

Just park somewhere along Division or Barryknoll (no worries about being towed) and hop right onto the dirt trail that will bring you down and around to Glassell rec center. Take a loop around the park, then coast down Eagle Rock Blvd and right back up to Division. Or you could keep going down to York or Colorado Blvd for a longer trek.

I like this ride because there’s not much of any climbing. 99.9% all downhill/flat roads, except at the very end there’s a very short/ mild incline for just a few mins to get back up to Division. Great for mountain bikers or e-biking, I was even able to tow my dog along safely. Dirt trails a bit rocky/bumpy so make sure you have good fat tires. Happy riding.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
